Anti Hazing

What is hazing ?

An act or series of acts that includes but is not limited to:

Physical acts such as, hitting, striking, biting, kicking, and threating to harm any individual while being affiliated with Sigma Omega Epsilon Inc.

Sexual acts

Behavior that is against any individual personal purpose or beliefs

Insulting, humiliating, private or public disgrace

Forcing (an) individual(s) do something that is against the law

Any form of tattooing or branding on ones skin

Forced, coerced or required consumption of alcohol or other drugs

Intentional or reckless engagement in conduct which creates a substantial risk of physical injury to another person
Forced or required inappropriate dress, or full or partial nudity in any situation for any reason

All members and prospective members of Sigma Omega Epsilon have the right to be treated with dignity and respect and the right to be safe. Hazing is one thing we do not tolerate. To ensure every prospective member of the sorority that we are a non-hazing organization, we have a risk who is in charge of making sure hazing does not take place.
